§ 13. Mr. Bernie Grantasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department if he will make a statement on the Metropolitan Police Commissioner's current policing policy towards the Broadwater Farm estate.
§ Mr. Douglas HoggThe policing of the Broadwater farm estate is a matter for the Commissioner. I understand from the Commissioner that there has been no change in his policy towards the estate. The area continues to be policed by a dedicated team of officers and the police are always ready to meet representatives of the local community to discuss concerns about policing on the estate.
