§ Mrs. ChalkerIn the course of regular contacts with our colleagues from other member states and the Commission my right hon. and learned Friend and I have made clear our views on the need to reform the common agricultural policy, ensure better control of expenditure, relieve burdens on small businesses, complete the common market in goods and services and develop policies on other matters to the benefit of Britain and the Community as a whole.
