§ Mr. Maddenasked the Secretary of State for Transport if, once the northern relief road in the midlands is in use, he will take steps to provide facilities for rest, refreshment and refuelling on the M6 for drivers of heavy goods vehicles.
§ Mr. Peter BottomleyProvision of a motorway service area site is an integral part of our proposals for a northern relief road of the west midlands conurbation. I have no other plans to supplement the existing MSAs on the length of M6 through the west midlands region.
