§ Mr. MellorWe recently received representations from the hon. Member for Warrington, North (Mr. Hoyle) about population pressures at Risley; and hon. Members will be aware of the debate which took place in another place on Wednesday of last week on prison conditions generally, in which the Minister of State summarised the Government's programme for tackling the problem of overcrowding.
