§ Ms. Richardsonasked the Secretary of State for Employment whether he will state the amount of money by which the funding of the wider opportunities training programme is to be reduced, when this reduction will start, how many places in the programme will be lost and what is his estimate as to how many places in the programme will be lost and what is his estimate as to how many of the places lost will be for women and how many for men.
§ Mr. Cope[pursuant to his reply, 23 July 1987]: We have no present plans to reduce either the funding of the wider opportunities training programme (WOTP) or the number of places for men or women.
