Whether they have been asked to take part in or contribute to the Review of Nuclear Winter which the United States Department of Defense has been required by the United States Congress to complete by 1st November 1987, and which is subsequently to be evaluated by the United States National Academy of Sciences, and if so in what way.
§ The Minister of State for Defence Procurement (Lord Trefgarne)Her Majesty's Government have not been asked to contribute to the study to which the noble Lord refers.
