Whether Mr. Michael Stanley Wyatt, a prisoner in Albany Prison, has been charged with any misconduct or breach of prison rules; whether he has lost any remission or suffered any other disciplinary penalty; whether they can disprove the statement by his solicitors Messrs. Robinson, Jarvis and Rolf in a letter to the Governor of Albany Prison, dated 14th July 1986, that Mr. Wyatt is something of a model prisoner and has caused no trouble whatsoever during his imprisonment; what information they have about Mr. Wyatt's current behaviour and attitude; and why they do not consider it appropriate to transfer him temporarily to Northern Ireland for the purpose of receiving accumulated visits.
The Earl of CaithnessSince Mr. Wyatt's transfer to Albany Prison on 9th October 1985 he has been charged with one offence against discipline. On 21st July 1986 he was found guilty of breach of prison Rule 47(7) for which he was awarded 28 days' forfeiture of remission suspended for three months and 10 days' loss of privileges. We are not at present satisfied regarding Mr. Wyatt's likely conduct if transferred to Northern Ireland for accumulated visits.
