§ Mr. NewtonMy hon. Friend has written to my right hon. Friend, on behalf of the Basingstoke and North Hampshire district health authority. Wessex regional health authority has reported to my right hon. Friend on the action proposed by that district to reduce hospital waiting lists and times, including bids against first year's allocation of the £50 million waiting list fund.
