Mr. Wigley

asked the Secretary of State for Wales what has been the expenditure on drugs by each health authority in Wales in (a) the hospital service, (b) the general practitioner service and (c) other services, both at current and outturn prices since 1979.

The following tables show(a) expenditure by health authorities on drugs for all purposes including hospital services and community health services and (b) payments made by family practitioner committees to pharmacists, general medical practitioners and general dental practitioners for the supply and dispensing of drugs.
