HC Deb 02 February 1987 vol 109 cc513-4W
45. Mr. Neale

asked the Attorney-General how many visits have been undertaken by law officers to areas of the Crown Prosecution Service.

The Solicitor-General

Each of the six areas comprising a former metropolitan county has received an extensive visit from me since the service came into operation, as have Durham and parts of two London areas. I have been greatly impressed by the universal commitment of staff at all levels to the success of this new and independent service.
