§ Mr. Allan Stewartasked the Secretary of State for Scotland if he will list those local authorities which currently do not make special provisions for the housing of former service personnel in accordance with the guidance given in Circular 107/1975.
§ Mr. AncramI understand that the majority of local authorities in Scotland have responded favourably to the circular by according some measure of housing priority to service personnel, but the information held by the Scottish Development Department on individual local authority allocation policies is not complete. District councils are responsible for allocation policies for their areas and I refer my hon. Friend directly to the local authorities in which he is interested.
