§ Mr. Mark RobinsonGovernment policy is to dispose only of surplus NHS property. There is no automatic 585W requirement to provide staff residences except in the case of some junior doctors. Health authorities, however, have discretion to provide residential accommodation for certain staff groups, including nurses, as deemed necessary in local circumstances.
