Member for Stretford dated 20 February concerning the refusal of leave to enter the United Kingdom of Mr. R. reference No. R266303/2(S), he will explain Government policy towards visitors who arrive for no particular family or other reason.
§ Mr. WaddingtonThe policy towards persons who seek leave to enter the United Kingdom as visitors is set out in paragraph 17 of the Immigration Rules (H.C. 169 as amended). I will write further to the hon. Member about the case to which his question refers.
