§ Dr. McDonaldasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department (1) of the cases of fraud reported to the Metropolitan police company fraud department since 1979, (i) how many in each year were subsequently reported to the Department of Trade and Industry and (ii) of the cases subsequently reported to the Department of Trade and Industry how many in each year resulted in prosecutions by the relevant prosecuting solicitor's department; and how many were successful in each instance;
(2) of the cases of fraud reported to the Metropolitan police company fraud department since 1979, (i) how many cases in each year were subsequently reported to the relevant prosecuting solicitor's department and (ii) of the cases subsequently reported to the relevant prosecuting solicitor's department, how many in each year resulted in prosecutions conducted by that department; and how many were successful in each instance;
(3) of the cases of fraud reported to the Metropolitan police company fraud department in each year since 1979, (i) how many cases in each year were subsequently reported to the Director of Public Prosecutions and (ii) of the cases subsequently reported to the Director of Public Prosecutions how many in each year resulted in prosecutions conducted by the Director of Public Prosecutions; and how many were successful in each instance;
(4) of the cases of fraud reported to the Metropolitan police company fraud department since 1979, (i) how 48W many cases were referred to them by the Department of Trade and Industry and (ii) how many cases in each year were referred to them by the Director of Public Prosecutions;
(5) how many cases of fraud were reported to the Metropolitan police company fraud department in each year since 1979;
(6) of the cases of fraud reported to the City of London police fraud squad in each year since 1979, (i) how many in each year were subsequently reported to the Director of Public Prosecutions and (ii) of the cases subsequently reported to the Director of Public Prosecutions how many in each year resulted in prosecutions conducted by the Director of Public Prosecutions; and how many were successful;
(7) of the cases of fraud reported to the City of London police fraud squad since 1979, (i) how many cases in each year were referred to it by the Department of Trade and Industry and (ii) how many cases in each year were referred to it by the Director of Public Prosecutions;
(8) how many cases of fraud were reported to the City of London police fraud squad in each year since 1979;
(9) of the cases of fraud reported to the City of London police fraud squad in each year since 1979, (a) how many in each year were subsequently reported to the relevant prosecuting solicitor's department and (b) of the cases so reported to the relevant prosecuting solicitor's department, how many in each year resulted in prosecutions conducted by the relevant prosecuting solicitor's department; and how many were successful in each instance;
(10) of the cases of fraud reported to the City of London police fraud squad in each year since 1979, how many in each year were subsequently reported to the Department of Trade and Industry and of the cases subsequently reported to the Department of Trade and Industry how many in each year resulted in prosecutions conducted by the relevant prosecuting solicitor's department; and how many were successful in each instance.
