§ Mr. TrippierProgress in setting up two-year YTS, the Government's main training measure for young people, has been excellent. The new programme began in April and we have already been offered all the places that will be required. We have also introduced the new workers scheme to follow on from YTS to help many more young people gain a foothold on the employment ladder.
