§ Mr. Yeoasked the Secretary of State for Social Services if he will establish an inquiry into the need for speech therapists in the light of his policies on care in the community.
§ Mr. WhitneyDistrict health authorities are responsible for the provision of speech therapy services for people both in hospital and in the community. We would expect that authorities are already taking proper account of our policies for care in the community in formulating their development plans for speech therapy services.
