In addition to the allocations for 1986–87 referred to, my right hon. Friend the Secretary of State for Trade and Industry announced on 14 May that an additional £10 million would be made available to the northern region to help deal with prospective shipbuilding closures, including £2 million urban programme and £1 million derelict land reclamation resources.
