HC Deb 24 July 1986 vol 102 cc399-400W
Mr. Wainwright

asked the Secretary of State for the Home Department what progress has been made in the review of interpreting facilities throughout the immigration services; and if he will make a statement.

Mr. Waddington

The first stage of the review which is of the facilities available to the immigration service and their cost, is approaching completion. The second stage will then consider the options available for enhancement of the facilities and for securing the best possible return from expenditure in a way that meets the needs of the service and reduces inconvenience to passengers.
