§ Mr. Nicholas EdwardsNo. The present assisted areas map, which governs the availability of selective financial assistance and regional development grant came into force in November 1984 following a most comprehensive and objective review. Industrial investment decisions demand a substantial measure of stability in the map, and the Government have no plans for early changes to it.
