These schemes are in the London borough of Brent, the royal borough of Kensington and Chelsea, Cannock Chase district council, City of Wakefield metropolitan district council. Langbaurgh borough council and Knowsley metropolitan borough council. All these schemes, which have been worked up by the local authorities in close collaboration with the Department's urban housing renewal unit and regional offices, involve improved housing management.
Approval in principle has been given for additional resources to be made available in 1986–87. The amounts and the estates which will benefit are as follows:
