§ Mr. Alan Clark[pursuant to his reply, 20 February, c. 269]: The Food and Agriculture Organisation of the United Nations last year adopted an international code of practice on the distribution and use of pesticides. I regard this as an effective means of drawing the attention of both industry and governments to the measures needed to assure the safety of pesticide users.
