Mr. John

asked the Secretary of State for Social Services if he will state, for the latest date for which figures are available the number of (a) persons, (b) men and (c) women in the work force who (i) were contracted in to the state earnings-related pension scheme, (ii) were contracted out of the state earnings-related pension scheme, (iii) had changed from contracted-in employment to contracted-out employment in the previous year, (iv) had changed from contracted-out employment to contracted-in employment in the previous year and (v) had at some time in their lives been contracted in to the state earnings-related pension scheme.
