§ Mr. Johnasked the Secretary of State for Social Services if he will state separately for men and for women (a) the number and proportion of those reaching retirement age in 1984 who were entitled to an additional pension under the state pension scheme, (b) the average additional pension payable to those retiring in 1984 and entitled to such a pension, (c) the equivalent figures for guaranteed minimum pension and (d) the number and proportion of supplementary pensioners and partners of supplementary pensioners who would have been lifted off supplementary benefit if they had been in receipt of an additional pension equal to the average specified in (b).
