§ Mr. Yeoasked the Secretary of State for the Environment when he expects to be able to announce the results of his discussions with the water authorities on how best to expose their direct labour organisations to competition.
§ Mr. GowProposals have been put to the water authorities but I cannot say when we will reach conclusions. We are examining wider aspects of water authority privatisation.
