§ Mr. Deakinsasked the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs if it is North Atlantic Treaty Organisation policy to criticise all countries that disregard their obligations not to threaten or to use force on those who violate the independence, sovereignty and territorial integrity of other countries.
§ Mr. LuceThe North Atlantic allies condemn the threat or use of force in violation of obligations under the United Nations Charter and the Helsinki final act. In their communiqué of 14 December 1984, NATO Foreign Ministers declared that it was unacceptable that the Soviet Union
continues to violate the independence, sovereignty and territorial integrity of Afghanistanin disregard of these obligations.
§ Mr. Deakinsasked the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs if any North Atlantic Treaty Organisation communiqué has criticised United States policy in Nicaragua or elsewhere in the Third world.
