Mr. Tony Banks

asked the Secretary of State for the Home Department (1) if he will publish in the Official Report a list of those local authorities which have since 1 December 1983 received approvals for grant aid for the purpose of establishing, equipping or maintaining an emergency centre pursuant to regulation 5(1)(c) of the Civil Defence (General Local Authority Functions) Regulations 1983.

(2) if he will publish in the Official Report a list of those local authorities which have since 1 December 1983 received approvals for grant aid for the purpose of establishing, equipping or maintaining an emergency centre pursuant to Regulation 4(1)(b) of the Civil Defence (General Local Authority Functions) Regulations 1983.

[pursuant to his reply, 19 July 1985, c. 291]: Listed are those county councils and district councils for which approval has been given under Regulations 4(1)(b) and 5(1)(c) respectively of the Civil Defence (General Local Authority Functions) Regulations 1983, for grant aid on schemes to establish, equip or improve premises as emergency centres. The information is correct as at 22 July 1985.
