§ Mr. JoplingMy Department does not currently have a specific section which specialises in long-term planning for the agricultural industry. Many staff in many parts of the Department are regularly involved in studying the trends and prospects in agriculture and in the other industries with which we are concerned, taking into account wider aspects including the rural economy, consumers and the environment.
