§ Mrs. FennerMy Department has issued advice to exporters about the certification and testing arrangements required to meet the additional import requirements introduced by the French authorities. I have undertaken to relieve the industry of the cost of carrying out the examinations for trichinae. The EC Commission, at our request and that of other member states, are considering the validity of the French measures.
