asked Her Majesty's Government:

Whether they will state the number of unemployed persons with:

(a) University degrees or equivalent qualifications:

  1. (i) in arts subjects
  2. (ii) in scientific and/or engineering subjects;

(b) educational qualifications of "A" level grade;

(c) educational qualifications which include one or more "O" levels;

(d) the number of unemployed with no educational qualifications;

and express (a), (b), (c) and (d) in percentages of total registered unemployed persons.

According to theLabour Force Survey the numbers of people without jobs and seeking work in Great Britain in the spring of 1984 were as follows:
