§ Mr. Foulkesasked the Prime Minister if she will list all the documents requested from Her Majesty's Government by the Australian Royal Commission investigating nuclear tests in the Pacific in the 1950s; and whether all such documents requested were provided.
§ The Prime MinisterA full list of the hundreds of unclassified documents released to the Australian Royal Commission will be available in the Public Record Office shortly. The list will not include those few documents which must remain classified.
As far as possible, all requests from the Royal Commission have been met. However, a small number of documents have been withheld on grounds of national security, international relations and personal sensitivity.
