HC Deb 31 October 1984 vol 65 cc974-5W
Mr. Weetch

asked the Attorney-General whether there have been any changes in the composition of the Conveyancing Committee in recent months.

The Attorney-General

Yes. Mr. John Wickerson and Mrs. Esmé Walker resigned from the committee after it had completed its report on the first limb of its terms of reference. They have been succeeded by Mrs. Margaret Anstey and Mr. Ronald Laing.

Mr. Weetch

asked the Attorney-General what consultations he intends to have in the course of reaching decisions on the recommendations contained in the first report of the conveyancing committee and on the contents on the note of dissent published with that report.

The Attorney-General

We intend to announce decisions soon.
