Mr. Austin Mitchell

asked the Chancellor of the Exchequer what was the percentage share of (a) employment, (b) exports and (c) gross domestic product coming from manufacturing industry in (i) the United Kingdom, (ii) the United States of America and (iii) West Germany in 1960, 1970, 1975, 1979, 1980, 1982 and 1983.
