§ Mr. Michieasked the Secretary of State for Employment if he will take steps to ensure that the consultation procedures set out in the central study plan method of work are extended to include the following interested parties to enable the benefits of health and safety legislation to be adequately assessed (a) unions with members employed in small firms, (b) safety representatives in small businesses appointed under the safety representatives and safety committee regulations in 1977 and (c) employees in small businesses.
