However, the figures quoted in the table will include a number of accidents, in particular road traffic accidents during scheme time and accidents to trainees in educational establishments, which may not have been reportable to HSE had the individuals been employed. ‡ This figure includes two road traffic fatalities. ║ This figure includes two road traffic fatalities and two lunch-time swimming accidents. ¶ Major injuries on YOP during the period 1 April 1982–31 March 1983 have been reviewed by MSC using the criteria laid down in the Notification of Accidents and Dagerous Occurances Regulations (NADOR).
