§ Mr. Batisteasked the Secretary of State for Transport when it is proposed that work will begin on the improvement to the Al at the Wetherby roundabout.
§ Mrs. ChalkerThe Wetherby roundabout improvement is part of the Department's proposals for the Kirkhamgate-Dishforth scheme. My right hon. Friends the Secretaries of State for Transport and for the Environment are now considering the inspector's report on the 13-month public inquiry. We hope to announce our decision in the early part of 1985.
The start of work is, of course, dependent on the decision on the scheme.
