HC Deb 21 November 1984 vol 68 c162W
Mr. Skeet

asked the Chancellor of the Exchequer whether Her Majesty's Government will compensate the Isle of Man for a reduction of its share of revenue accruing under section 2 of the Miscellaneous Financial Provisions Act 1968 due to the enactments of the Petroleum Royalties (Relief) Act 1983 which exempts royalties payable on petroleum from new offshore fields.

Mr. Moore

A request by the Isle of Man for compensation for the loss of this revenue is under consideration.
