asked the Secretary of State for Scotland what is the proposed number of personnel to be accommodated in the nuclear bunker being constructed by Tayside regional council at Coupar Angus.

As I explained in my reply to the hon. Member on 23 October 1984, at column 549–50, Tayside regional council does not propose to provide a "nuclear bunker".

The staffing of the proposed emergency centre, on which construction has not begun, is a matter for the regional council.
