HL Deb 23 May 1984 vol 452 cc323-4WA
Lord Grimond

asked her Majesty's Government:

What has now been arranged to ensure that Scotland gets its share of the fees which will accrue to stockbrokers, merchant banks, lawyers et cetera, on the privatisation of assets which are British not English.

The Chancellor of the Duchy of Lancaster (Lord Cockfield)

The arrangements remain as stated in my answer to the noble Lord on 25th April [Official Report, col. 135].
