asked Her Majesty's Government:

Whether Scotland Yard's Anti-Terrorist Squad has been alerted to death threats contained in letters bearing London postmarks being received by Romanian exiles living in the United Kingdom who have been involved in preparations for the First World Congress of Free Romanians to be held in Geneva on 19th and 20th May 1984.

The Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State, Home Office (Lord Elton)

The matter has been reported to the Metropolitan Police and is under investigation.
