HC Deb 17 May 1984 vol 60 cc212-3W
52. Mr. Rowe

asked the Secretary of State for the Home Department what progress there has been in considering reparation to the victims of their crimes by young offenders.

Mr. Mellor

I refer my hon. Friend to the answer given earlier today to a question from my hon. Friend the Member for Norfolk, North-West (Mr. Bellingham). We believe that reparation may have a particularly useful contribution to make in cases involving young offenders.
