§ Mr. Eldon Griffithsasked the Secretary of State for Trade and Industry what evidence he has of dumping in the United Kingdom by Japanese exporters of retail weighing machines; whether this has been considered by the appropriate Directorate of the European Economic Commission; and what conclusions it has reached.
§ Mr. FletcherAn anti-dumping investigation into imports of electronic retail weighing machines into the Community from Japan was opened on 3 September 1983 and provisional anti-dumping duties were imposed on 22 March 1984. The investigation is continuing and should be concluded within the next three months.
