§ 26. Mr. McQuarrieasked the Secretary of State for Education and Science if he has any plans to define the maximum number of pupils in a school building based on the classroom capacity of the school building and a maximum number of pupils per class.
§ Mr. DunnNo. The Education (School Premises) Regulations 1981, which apply in England and Wales, lay down the minimum total area of teaching accommodation to be provided in a maintained school by reference to the normal number of pupils in the school.
