§ Mr. DunnHer Majesty's Inspectorate does not have detailed plans identifying institutions for inspection up to 12 months in advance. Each year, over the country as a whole, about 250 schools are formally inspected and HMI 109W pays shorter visits to about a fifth of all maintained primary schools and some three quarters of all maintained secondary schools.
