Mr. McNamara

asked the Secretary of State for Social Services whether he will make a statement concerning the practice of deducting from unemployed Territorial Army service men's benefit their training allowances before they have been received; and whether he intends to alter the practice so that no Territorial service man is penalised in his social security payments by virtue of his Territorial service.
