§ Mr. WaddingtonFor the purposes of the British Nationality Act 1981, the Channel Islands and the Isle of Man are treated as part of the United Kingdom. Persons closely connected with the islands have therefore precisely the same eligibility for British citizenship as if their connection had been with the United Kingdom.
