§ Sir George YoungLocal authorities' expenditure on management and maintenance of their properties can include the costs of decanting tenants while works are carried out. A notional amount per dwelling in respect of management and maintenance is taken into account in calculating each authority's annual entitlement to housing subsidy from central Government.
