§ Mr. Chris PattenWildlife conservation by the Department of the Environment for Northern Ireland's conservation branch will cost approximately £385,000 in 1983–84, and the proportion of staff time involved is equivalent to 27 personnel; these are the equivalent of £245 and four days per annum per 1,000 population.
