asked the secretary of State for the Environment if he will present information for England as contained in table 2.18 of Cmnd. 9143-II, showing for each year since 1981–82 (a) the Government's plans, (b) local authority budgets and (c) estimated or actual outturn.

asked the Secretary of State for the Environment if he will list those authorities which (a) budgeted to spend more than 30 per cent. above grant-related expenditure in 1983–84, (b) budgeted to spend more than 2 per cent. over target in 1983–84, (c) whose rate rise in 1983–84 was more than 8 per cent., (d) whose rate rise in 1982–83 was more than 8 per cent. and (e) whose net current expenditure increased by more than 90 per cent. since 1978–79.
