§ Mr. Kenneth ClarkeWe have promised to consult representative bodies on the content of orders to be made under section 21(3A) of the Opticians Act 1958 as it will be amended by clause 1 of the Health and Social Security Bill. These consultations will cover whether it is necessary to define more precisely what constitutes a written prescription for glasses.
