asked the Secretary of State for Education and Science whether he will issue a circular to schools warning them of the hazard of glue sniffing and solvent abuse by their pupils.

Mr. Dunn

A number of local education authorities have already issued guidance to their schools on solvent misuse, and we have at present no plans to publish a circular on this matter.
